Upstairs the home has three more bedrooms, a family room and bath. Most guests stop at the top of the stairs when the huge view of the lake and a built in window seat call them over. A library stocked with kids books, local history and nautical tales are within arm's reach. The separate family room has another flat screen tv, mini fridge, couch, games and movies to give the kids their own spot to play. New, overstuffed beds with down comforters, Hudson Bay blankets and vintage pennant pillows let you drift off to sleep in comfort and high camp style!

The location is superb with Tahoe City and three major ski areas within 5-15 minutes! Shopping and dining in Tahoe City is just three miles away. Equal distant is skiing at Homewood ski area (where a shuttle will pick you up at our door stop for free!). Ski the back side of Alpine Meadows just 5 minutes away or drive to Squaw Valley USA about 15 minutes away! The house does sit well off the main road on a half acre of land. The house backs up to National Forest land allowing sledding, snowshoe or cross country skiing right from the back door! Across the road the house does come with 90 feet of lake frontage for snow play with great photo opps! Maybe even next year’s holiday photo?? Close to Becky's Place.
